This article discusses how to use cultural translation as a strategy to achieve true universal values in an era of multiple coexistence. The current world is full of crises and challenges, structural unemployment, disparities between the rich and the poor and social polarization. The increasing number of the population has become naked and the ecological catastrophe has spread all over the world. All this leads us to one fundamental question: How should humans continue? How to modernize outside the capitalist system and how to ensure the spiritual and spiritual freedom and health in an era of increasingly advanced science and technology and civilization? To explore these issues in a global context, we must first use cultural translation as a strategy, The establishment of a world-wide discourse language between different kinds of cultural communities respects the universal concepts constructed by this discourse language and embodies the wishes, customs and values of different cultures. Cultural translation highlights universal cultural forms, appreciates and respects differences, and calls for international democracy. The author believes that the strategy of cultural translation as anti-hegemony aims to recast and rebuild the universal concept, so that the universal concept will not be monopolized by the hegemonic state or dominated by the hegemonic group. In discussing how to construct an alternative modernity, a series of concepts such as modernity, democracy, human rights, subjectivity, social justice, development, science and rationality should be re-interpreted and re-interpreted by all countries and cultural groups in the world Constructed.
