高职英语教学存在着学时少、任务重、学生英语基础差的状况。由于扩招,很多学校采取了大班上课。大班上课人均交流减少,课堂互动受到限制,学生的跨文化交际能力难以培养。2000年颁布的《高职高专教育英语课程教学基本要求》调整了语言技能要求,明确了交际范围,突出了学生跨文化交际能力的培养。因此高职英语教师要从根本上转变观念,逐步培养学生跨文化交际能力。
Vocational English teaching there is less time, heavy tasks, students poor English foundation. Due to expansion of enrollment, many schools have taken large classes. Large class classes reduce per capita communication, classroom interaction is limited, students’ intercultural communication ability is difficult to train. The Basic Requirements for Teaching English Curriculum in Higher Vocational Education promulgated in 2000 adjusted the requirements of language skills, clarified the scope of communication, and highlighted the cultivation of students’ intercultural communicative competence. Therefore, vocational English teachers should fundamentally change their concepts and gradually develop their intercultural communication skills.
