从严复一生在中国近代文学史上的贡献和成就来看,其最显著的成就是翻译,而不是文学作品本身,当前对严复文学成就关注最多的就是严复所推崇的进化论思想。对中国近代文学影响最大的也是严复的翻译研究成果,包括严复所提出的翻译方面的思想以及所作的翻译作品,但这些都还远远不能完全表现严复在中国近代文学史上的成就和重要的地位,因此,针对严复在文学史上的文学作品和文学思想等进行探讨和学习,认识严复与中国近代文学变革的关系与联系,正确认识严复在中国文学界的地位和意义,是发展我国文学的内在要求,也是发扬严复文学优秀成果的必然之举。本文将在梳理严复文学成果在中国近代的发展道路的基础之上,指出研究严复与中国近代文学变革关系的重要意义,并针对严复的突出文学成就进行详细分析和探讨。 From Yan Fu’s contributions and achievements in the history of Chinese modern literature, Yan Fu’s most notable achievements are translation, not literary works.
