婺源,位于江西东北部,与皖、浙两省交界,全县国土面积2947平方公里,其中山地面积377万亩,素有“八分半山一分田,半分水路和庄园”之称,是个典型的江南山区林业大县,被誉为“中国最美的乡村”。党的十六届五中全会提出加快推进社会主义新农村建设的战略决策以来,我县围绕“做大做强县域经济,建设中国最美乡村”的发展目标,进一步加快林业生态保护和林业产业发展步伐,做足“希望在山”文章,走出了一条经济可持续发展、资源可持续利用、人类可持续生存的生态发展之路。
Wuyuan, located in the northeast of Jiangxi Province, borders with Anhui and Zhejiang provinces. The county covers an area of 2947 square kilometers, with a total area of 3.77 million mu and a mountainous area of 377 mu.
