下文译自美刊《American Machinist》或《Manufacturing Engineering》1885年第4期的一篇报导。该文介绍了我国航空工业部用国产超性能高速钢(即成都工具所等单位研制成功的铝高速钢——编者)在欧英等国若干飞机制造厂使用的情况,并给予了高度的评价。这充分反映出我国高速钢刀具的优异性能已达到了国际领先的地位。几年来,我国铝高速钢刀具在欧美以及东南亚的国际市场上都享有盛誉。如在1884年4月香港展销会上,我国的铝高速钢车刀、铣刀、齿轮滚刀和插齿刀最受欢迎,成为展销会上的“一花独秀”。目前,我国航空工业部已向欧美国家大量出口铝高速钢刀具,为国家创取了大量外汇收益。据悉,最近该部计划进一步扩大这种高性能刀具的生产。这种勇于开拓的精神是值是学习的,但是我们机械工业部的工厂却反而生产得很少,应引起有关领导的注意。
The following is a translation from American Machinist or Manufacturing Engineering, Issue 4, 1885. This paper introduces the use of domestic super-performance high-speed steel (that is, the successful manufacture of aluminum high-speed steel-editors) by China’s Ministry of Aviation Industry in several European and European aircraft manufacturers and gives a high degree of evaluation .
