With the continuous reform of new education, teachers are more and more pursuing the maximization of classroom efficiency and begin to focus on cultivating students’ autonomous learning ability. Inquiry teaching is born under such education situation, which has the vital function of stimulating students ’interest in learning chemistry and improving students’ learning ability. Based on the present situation of chemistry teaching, this paper analyzes and interprets the chemistry inquiry teaching, and probes into the implementation methods and precautions of inquiry teaching emphatically.
