矿棉吸音板是由矿渣棉加入胶结料、外加剂及水混合搅拌成浆料,经成型、烘干、切割及表面处理而成。板材规格一般为596×1192×12、596×596×12、496×496×12(单位:毫米)等三种,板边为直角。它具有不燃烧、质轻(容重300～500公斤/米~3)、吸音(平均吸音系数>0.25)、保温(导热系数0.042)、易切割可粘贴等特点。板在出厂时已完成饰面处理,做出各种图案及质感,有较好的装饰效果。目前的产品尚不防水,不宜用于潮湿房间。
