11月5日,中国社会保障学会世界社会保障研究分会暨第一届研讨会在京举行。全国人大常委、中国社会保障学会会长郑功成教授在会上指出,研究国外社会保障制度应当具备全球观、大视野,高度关注各国社会保障制度改革的大背景,遵循政府主导、责任分担、互助共济、促进团结和提供稳定预期的大规律,来寻求适合中国借鉴的社会保障制度发展的大国之道。中国社会科学院学部委员周弘被推选为世界社会保障研究分会会长。

Zhou Hong, a member of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, was elected president of the World Social Security Research Branch.
