英美文学课作为高校英语语言文学专业的一门必修课,在培养学生文学鉴赏能力和提高人文综合素质方面起着不容忽视的作用。然而,受社会“急功近利”和“实用主义”思潮以及现代化教学的影响,英美文学课的地位正从中心走向边缘。本文通过对泉州师院2009级英语专业学生的问卷调查,结合本人多年的英美文学课的教学心得和体会,分析高校英美文学课的现状,并提出几点相应的改革方案。
As a compulsory course of College English Language and Literature, Anglo-American Literature Course plays an important role in cultivating students’ literature appreciation ability and improving the comprehensive quality of humanities. However, influenced by the social trend of quick success and pragmatism and modern teaching, the position of Anglo-American literary class is moving from the center to the periphery. Based on the questionnaire survey of Grade 2009 English majors in Quanzhou Normal University and the experience and experience of many years of English and American literature courses, this article analyzes the status quo of English and American literature courses in colleges and universities and puts forward some corresponding reform proposals.
