搞好信息产业建设,首先要弄清本行业的特点,只有把这个问题搞清楚,才能从本行业的实际出发,拓展我们的服务领域。信息产业有什么特点呢?我认为主要特点是:1、综合性强。信息产业是一个综合性很强的产业,有的学者把它称为第四产业。它不仅包括电子和通信设备制造业、通信业和信息服务业,从广义上讲,还应该包括广播、电视、新闻出版等传媒。按照我国现行体制,这些行业都由有关部门分管,并实行行业管理。但信息服务业的行业管理问题还有待明确。2、应用广泛。信息产品不仅同社会、经济、科技文化、教育、国防等各个应用部门具有广泛的联系,而且还涉及到社会成员的工作、学习和生活。信息产业具有跨行业、跨地区、跨国别的特点。信息产业发展要以市场为导向,把了解和反映市场需求的变化作为一项重要任务。
