五月鲜桃是太原市发展较多的一个桃品种,果实品质优良,成熟期早,正值夏初水果淡季,很受市场欢迎。但是,历年来它的单株产量偏低,平均株产仅40—50斤,只达到同树龄其它品种产量的五分之一,严重地影响着它的发展。为探索五月鲜桃低产的原因,我们在1978、1979两年进行了座果率试验。 May Peach is a peach variety with more development in Taiyuan City. The fruit quality is good and the maturity period is early, just as the early summer fruit season is welcomed by the market.
