中铬铸铁经加铝和亚临界热处理后其硬度达到常规淬火和回火热处理水平，且冲击韧性好。在试验室条件下进行耐磨性对比试验表明，中铬铸铁经亚临界热处理后其耐磨性为45钢的2．6倍，同时是高铬相铸铁的0．7倍。
Medium chromium cast iron by adding aluminum and subcritical heat treatment after the hardness of its conventional quenching and tempering heat treatment level, and good impact toughness. Comparative test of wear resistance under laboratory conditions shows that the wear resistance of medium-chromium cast iron after subcritical heat treatment is 2.6 times that of 45 steel and 0.7 times that of high-chromium cast iron.
