铁煤集团大兴煤矿南五采区四层运输中巷,地质结构复杂,巷道沿煤层走向布置,标高-480m水平,走向长800m,宽2.0m,高3.5m,采用U形钢支护。整个巷道共有4个弯道,弯道角度最大为90°,最小为15°,左弯道1个,右弯道3个;30%的局部底板有起伏现象,巷道坡度4°~5°。原采用小绞车接力运输方式,设备和人员投入较多,中间转运程序复杂,维护费用高,工作效率低。为确保运输系统的安全高效,该矿设计了无极绳连续牵引绞车运输系统。
