Whether you call it a bubble or not, today’s tech industry is undoubtedly experiencing unprecedented prosperity. According to the latest data, there are 114 private companies valued at more than $ 1 billion - what we commonly call “Unicorns.” Extreme cases like Uber and Airbnb have even reached tens of billions of dollars in valuation. The tech industry is obviously downwind now. However, economic and industrial development tends to be cyclical. This feast is bound to end at some point. We surveyed a number of technology practitioners and investors to find out the most serious risks they foresee.
