高中美术欣赏是提高学生审美水平的必修课。目的是提高学生的美术素养,开阔视野,启迪智慧,促进学生身心全面健康发展。它的作用是其他学科不能替代的。早在1996年国家教委下发通知,要求在高中开设艺术欣赏课,并颁布大纲,规定美术欣赏为普通高中必修课,总课时为34课时,原则上高一、高二分段进行。但在实际运行中受到各种因素的影响、制约,使农村高中基础美术教育处于零散的非理性状态,教学目的混乱、急功近利、过于强调应试教育、追求速成等,出现了以下几种现状:
High school art appreciation is a compulsory course to improve students’ aesthetic level. The purpose is to improve students ’art accomplishments, broaden their horizons, inspire wisdom and promote students’ overall and healthy development. Its role can not be replaced by other disciplines. As early as 1996, the State Education Commission issued a circular calling for the opening of an art appreciation class in high school and the promulgation of an outline of art appreciation as a compulsory course for ordinary senior high schools. The total class time is 34 hours, in principle, the first grade and the second grade are conducted in stages. However, due to various factors affecting and restricting the practical operation, the basic art education in rural senior high schools is in a fragmented and irrational state. The aim of teaching is chaos, quick success, over-emphasis on examination-oriented education and the pursuit of speedy achievements. The following situations exist:
