1997年5月9日,晴,星期五。周国平、孟华平、李天虹、王风竹于下午3:30到官庄坪。5月10日,睛,星期六。王风竹、黄文新首次找官庄坪村支书王刚、九组组长黄明高商量征地事宜。下午,秭归屈原纪念馆党支部谭书记等到官庄坪九组协商征地。5月11日,雨,星期日。我们考虑到此次官庄坪遗址的发掘面积较大,人手不够,将秭归土地湾遗址发掘的所有工作人员全部调至官庄坪,土地湾发掘暂停。
