护林防火管理子系统是林业部门自动化管理系统中重要的子系统之一。由于护林防火组织工作具有早期预报,及时发现和扑灭林火的特点,需要在加盟共和国范围进行深入详细的研究。首先进行此项研究的是俄罗斯联邦共和国林业部信息主导计算中心。
