Drama, as a kind of integrated art, not only means that it integrates various arts such as literature, painting, sculpture, music and dance, but also means that it is a playwright, director and performer as well as stage work such as dance, costume, props and make-up The product of concerted efforts of staff. Therefore, whether it be the study of playwright, director or performer, it must be examined as a central link in this systematic project and in the interlinkages with other links. This method is undoubtedly more comprehensive than the one inspected in isolation, and can even more reveal the intrinsic link after the phenomenon. For example, researching Chekhov’s plays or Stanislavski’s directorial arts makes it hard to put the activities of the Moscow Art Theater outside the researcher’s field of vision.
