日本血吸虫病的发病主要是肝内虫卵肉芽肿反应导致的肝硬化,而肉芽肿的形成与Th2细胞的细胞因子应答有关。由于IL-4与Th2效应细胞的发育有直接的关系,本研究采用抗IL-4抗体抑制Th2应答以观察其对日本血吸虫(菲律宾株)感染鼠Th2细胞因子表达及卵诱导病理的影响。
The main cause of schistosomiasis japonica liver cirrhosis caused by intrahepatic ovarian granuloma reaction, and the formation of granulomas and Th2 cytokine response. Because IL-4 is directly related to the development of Th2 effector cells, this study used anti-IL-4 antibody to inhibit Th2 response to observe its effect on Th2 cytokine expression and egg-induced pathology in mice infected with Schistosoma japonicum (Philippine strain).
