词汇是当前妨碍我国大学英语学习者语言运用能力提高的主要因素。由于缺乏对目标语社会文化知识的了解,对词汇承载的文化内涵不熟悉,当前我国许多英语学习者还无法达到对语言的深层次理解和运用,学习者的词汇知识及能力还不能满足交际的需要。文章通过剖析我国大学英语词汇教学的现状以及学习者在习得词汇时所遇到的困难,提出将文化图式理论应用在词汇习得过程中并有效解码的几点策略。
Vocabulary is the main factor that hinders the improvement of language ability of college English learners. Due to the lack of understanding of the target language sociocultural knowledge and the unfamiliar cultural connotation of the vocabulary, many English learners in our country are still unable to achieve the deep understanding and application of language. The learners’ vocabulary knowledge and ability can not meet the needs of communicative need. By analyzing the current situation of college English vocabulary teaching in our country and the difficulties encountered by learners in acquiring vocabulary, this paper proposes several strategies for applying cultural schema theory to vocabulary acquisition and effectively decoding.
