By investigating the family health status of the laid-off workers in five cities of Hangzhou, Haikou, Baoding, Shenyang and Chengdu in China, we analyzed the prevalence of family members of the laid-off workers in the five cities, and analyzed the main influencing factors of the family health of laid-off workers using Chi-square test and Logistic analysis. The study found that the single factors affecting the two-week prevalence of laid-off workers are gender, age, marital status, education level, and economic income. Through the establishment of a regression model for multivariate analysis, it was found that the two-week prevalence of laid-off workers was related to age, duration of unemployment, per capita income, job nature, and health insurance status, and was negatively correlated with age and unemployment. Based on this, it proposes corresponding measures and suggestions for improving the family health status and overall living standards of laid-off workers.
