详细地探讨了应变片法测量材料线膨胀系数的原理。指出了应变片法相对于传统的石英管膨胀仪法的优点及测试中需注意的事项。建立了一套低温下材料线膨胀系数的测量装置,并利用该装置测量了一种钢在4.2~100K的线膨胀系数。试验结果表明,用应变片法测量材料的线膨胀系数是一种简单可靠且经济实用的替代方法。
The principle of strain gauge method to measure the linear expansion coefficient of materials is discussed in detail. The advantages of the strain gage method relative to the traditional quartz tube dilatometer method and the items to be noticed in the test are pointed out. A set of measuring device of linear expansion coefficient of material was established at low temperature, and the linear expansion coefficient of a steel at 4.2 ~ 100K was measured by this device. The test results show that the strain gauge method for measuring the linear expansion coefficient of materials is a simple and reliable and economical alternative.
