The World Bank-funded China Schistosomiasis Control Project initiated in 1992 has set the epidemic level as the basis for adopting different prevention and treatment measures, that is, group chemotherapy is carried out in highly endemic areas while selective chemotherapy is applied to different populations in medium and low endemic areas. This article analyzes the effect of different chemotherapy measures implemented by World Bank-financed blood-borne projects in Anhui Province in the past five years. The report is as follows.
