1992年7月22日在北京矿冶研究总院学术厅举行的“圣·彼得堡工程科学院院士授证仪式”上,专程来京的俄罗斯圣·彼得堡工程科学院院长费多托夫郑重宣布,北京矿冶研究总院院长孙传尧,已于1991年12月13日被圣·彼得堡工程科学院选为院士,并颁发了院士证书。国家科委副秘书长兼综合计划司司长黎懋明,中国有色金属工业总公司副总经理何伯泉出席授证仪式并致词。国家科委和中国有色金属工业总公司有关司局领导和在京院所领导也到会祝贺。中央电视台、光明日报、科技日报和中国有色金属报等新闻单位派记者并报道了这一活动。
On July 22, 1992, at the “Ceremony of Academician of St.Petersburg Academy of Engineering” held in the Academic Hall of Beijing Mining and Metallurgy Research Institute, Fedotov, dean of the Russian Academy of Engineering Sciences in St. Petersburg, solemnly announced , Sun Chuan-yao, president of Beijing Mining and Metallurgy Research Institute, was elected as an academician by the St. Petersburg Academy of Engineering Sciences on December 13, 1991 and presented a certificate of academician. Li Mao-ming, deputy secretary-general and director of Comprehensive Planning Department of State Science and Technology Commission, and He Boquan, deputy general manager of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Corporation attended the ceremony and delivered speeches.
