尊重和保障人权是现代民主宪政的一项基本原则。改革开放以来我国人权事业取得了长足的进步。2004年,“国家尊重和保障人权”被写入宪法,我国对人权的保护得到进一步完善。但是,该项权利的保障依然有许多值得改进完善的地方。最为重要的是,要将宪法原则变为实际行动,将应然化为实然。这需要我们切实遵守人权原则,将人权落实于社会生活的方方面面。 Respect and safeguarding human rights are a basic principle of modern democratic constitutional government. Since the reform and opening up, China’s human rights cause has made great strides. In 2004, “the state respects and safeguards human rights” has been written into the constitution, and our country’s protection of human rights has been further improved. However, there are still many places where the protection of this right needs improvement. Most importantly, to turn the principle of the Constitution into practical action should be made real. This requires that we abide by the principles of human rights and implement human rights in all aspects of social life.
