This article aims to monitor bone mineral acquisition in adolescents with type 1 diabetes mellitus (DM). The subjects were 12-18-year-old adolescents, 42 patients with DM, and 199 healthy regional reference controls. The characteristics of the tibia were measured using Peripheral Bone Quantitative Computed Tomography (pQCT), and the spine and whole body bones (WB) were measured with a dual energy X-ray absorptiometry bone densitometer (DEXA). Retrieve the questionnaire of anthropometry and lifestyle within 12 months. The duration of the disease, insulin dosage, kidney function and glycosylated hemoglobin (HbAlc) values were recorded 12 months prior to recording. DM group
