近年来,茶叶销售看俏,茶农对茶叶生产的积极性提高,茶园投入增加。但是茶叶生产成本也增大,劳动力价格上升,采茶工紧缺,已成为普遍的问题。因此,机剪、机采势在必行。但推行机采,目前采茶机价格昂贵,使用维修的技术要求甚高,它的普及不可能一蹴而就。因此,在这过渡时期,采茶剪还是值得推广使用的,就连采茶机械化发达的日本,目前采茶剪也未完全淘汰,在某些情况下仍然被采用。
