全人教育以培养全面发展的人为目标,并力图使学习者成长为改善人们生活质量、推动积极的社会变革、促进未来一代更健康发展的开拓先锋。这正是我国教育改革发展所追求的目标。在全人教育理念指引下,辽宁省丹东市凤城六中进行了一系列变革,并取得了很大的成效:转变教师教和学生学的方式,把课堂还给学生,充分发挥学生的主体性、能动性,培养了学生的探究精神和创造能力;创新德育形式,开展丰富多彩的课堂和课外活动,使学生在活动中体验、反思,培养了学生的道德自律精神;实施激励性评价,充分发挥评价促进发展的功能,使评价的过程成为促进学生发展、提高教学质量的过程。
