新一年的AAC艺术中国评选即将启动,有报道称,2009年国内画廊销售业绩大降七成。众所周知在2009年拍卖中,当代艺术持续低迷。这其中,最影响切身利益的,肯定是刚刚步入市场,在初入艺术市场几年里品尝到艺术市场丰厚回报的青年艺术家。很显然,这一届的年度艺术家提名更侧重的是那些已取得成绩的年轻艺术家。甚至他们中的许多人,出生在上个世纪70年代中期,已经年近中年。作为国内众多一线艺术批评者参与评选的活动,对这些提名者的艺术成就,业内人士是有目共睹的。限于篇幅,以及此前曾经对某几位艺术家有所报道,同样参与此次评选的王姿婷、王斐、李继开、王光乐、熊宇、陈可、欧阳春、吕淼,本期并未一并刊出。在未来的艺术界,他们是能够否成为当代艺术的中坚?还是,他们现在已经走上当代艺术的主流星光大道?
