油茶低产林改造,是改变原有低产油茶林的生态环境,调整茶林的树体结构。使油茶林获得充分的阳光、有效地利用土壤肥力,增加肥料,便使油茶高产稳产。据试验要求,连续三年测产,每公顷总产茶油657.45kg,年均每公顷产219.15kg,每公顷总增产茶油269.4kg,增产46.67％。是解决当前食用油料的主要途径,也是山区茶农脱贫致富的好门路。
