郑旱1号＜原名郑州8915＞系河南省农科院小麦所于1989年用郑州831与豫麦13杂交，Fo加代，经过3年系统选育而成。1996年9月经洛阳市品种审定领导小组审定命名，1997年3月经三门峡市审定通过。产量表现1994年参加省多点品系鉴定，亩产253－415kg，分别比豫麦2号和西安8号增产12．
