武冈师范学校坐落在层峦叠嶂、风景优美的湘西南丘陵山区,1936年由著名平民教育家晏阳初先生创办。解放41年来,从这里出去的毕业生万余人,如今95%以上都工作在这块郁郁葱葱、古老而充满生机的土地上。自1984年来,学校按照中师培养目标的要求,在面向农村深化改革的实践中,架起了通向全区6个县各个山乡的一座座金桥。一批批学生沿着这座座金色桥梁高高兴兴而去,又踏着这座座金桥满载而归,成为扎根山乡的“园丁”、“秀才”,写出了“发展山乡教育,振兴山乡经济”的一系列瑰丽动人的教改
Wugang Normal School is located in the layers of the mountains, the beautiful scenery of the hills and southwestern Hunan, 1936 by the famous civilian educator Mr. Yan Yangchu founded.
