根据前人直接应用含钾岩石的成功经验;土壤中供钾矿物和含钾岩石中含钾矿物的相似性;土壤中含钾矿物的有效性和含钾岩石供钾潜力的研究结果,本文论述了组成矿物主要为云母类矿物(黑云母、白云母、海绿石、伊利石)的含钾岩石,农业直接应用可能具有良好效果。并根据笔者对贵州各类以白云母、伊利石(水云母)为主要矿物的水云母粘土岩、页岩、粉砂岩和火山凝灰岩(绿豆岩)的供钾潜力和释钾能力的研究结果,发现彼此供钾潜力相差悬殊,指出对含钾岩石进行农业地质开发研究,寻找勘探出供钾潜力大的含钾岩石,直接应用于农业,将对大农业的发展具有重要意义。
