上世纪90年代,我就知道东莞有个专事鸦片战争等历史题材的画家,他叫刘岩石,是由湘入粤多年造诣颇高、风格独具的国画家。记忆中其标志性画作有《湖广禁烟》《虎门销烟》《销烟壮举》《鸦片战争》等系列作品,画幅庞大,结构连贯,笔致凝重却灵动传神,很专业、很历史,也很中国。刘岩石1982年毕业于湖南师范大学美术系,现为中国美术家协会会员,其创作形式以国画、连环画、书法为主,墨海腾龙,挥斥方遒,书画兼擅,文史并美。作品多次在文化部、中国美协等主办的展 In the 90s of last century, I knew that there was a painter in Dongguan who specializes in historical subjects such as the Opium War.
