They hunt in a completely unfamiliar city in the name of a jazz, flying on the stage inviting them, each with sensitive switches on the instrument, and back to the ground at that moment. Jazz, in my opinion, is a free pass for some people. Herbie Hancock did not stop me outside the lounge after that show was over. I saw the youngest Wayne Shorter slumped on the sofa, laughing like an 8-year-old boy from parents to present. The Shanghai audience’s enthusiasm that night made these masters overwhelmed, hunting in the name of a jazz in a totally unfamiliar city. Feel free to fly on the stage, each holding a sensitive switch on the instrument and returning to the ground at that moment. At the moment, they disregard the presence of outsiders in the lounge and share their prey.
