研究了轴向载荷下,对3种S iC粒子(5,20和60μm)增强的2024铝合金复合材料疲劳裂纹扩展速率及颗粒尺寸的影响。复合材料疲劳裂纹扩展速率随颗粒尺寸增加而减小。去除裂纹闭合影响后,3种复合材料间疲劳裂纹扩展速率差消除了,但是复合材料的裂纹扩展速率低于2024铝合金的。
The effects of axial load on the fatigue crack growth rate and particle size of 2024 aluminum alloy reinforced with three S iC particles (5, 20 and 60 μm) were investigated. The fatigue crack growth rate decreases with the increase of particle size. After removing the effect of crack closure, the difference in fatigue crack growth rate was eliminated between the three composites, but the crack growth rate of the composites was lower than that of 2024 aluminum alloy.
