The relationship between classification and prognosis of 100 cases of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) was studied using morphological criteria and immunohistochemistry. The percentage of cell classification in NHL is as follows: 66% for B cells, 29% for T cells, 2% for non-B non-T cells, and 3% for tissue cells. According to the morphological criteria, T and B lymphoma tumor cells can be divided into four and six subtypes, respectively. The morphological characteristics of each subtype are described in detail. Follow-up results showed that the prognosis of B-cell lymphoma was better than that of T-cell lymphoma. The correct classification of lymphomas helps the patient’s treatment. The authors suggest that active chemotherapy and radiotherapy for lymphoblasts and central mother cell type NHL are required.
