以往嵌入式系统通常嵌于终端产品中,一般不与外界连接。现今的嵌入式系统一般都要连接到局域网,随着嵌入式网络越来越复杂,嵌入式以太网(Ethernet)也开始涉足于工业控制、建筑物自动化、医疗和安全产品市场。目前市场的发展趋势是将这些局域网需要通过企业内联网(Intranet)或外联网(extranet),尤其是通过互联网与外界连接。
In the past embedded systems are usually embedded in the end product, generally not connected with the outside world. Today’s embedded systems are generally connected to the LAN, and as embedded networks become more complex, embedded Ethernet (Ethernet) is also beginning to get involved in the industrial control, building automation, medical and safety product markets. The current market trend is to connect these LANs to the outside world via Intranet or extranet, especially via the Internet.
