吴兴区人民检察院自2003年5月成立以来,坚持以改革创新为动力,以维护公平正义为主题,以人民满意为标准、以科技强检为保障,采取一系列措施,实现了检察工作与文明单位建设双丰收。先后被评为市级“综合治理先进集体”、湖州市政法系统“人民满意政法单位”、区级“五型机关”、区级“六好领导班子”,党总支也连年被评为“先进基层党组织”。2006年被省委、省政府命名为“省级文明单位”,“省级先进检察院”。
