More than 40 participants attended the conference as well as nine famous scholars from Russia and the United States. Agenosov, a teacher at Moscow Normal University, summarized the inheritance and development of 19th-century tradition by Russian literature of the 20th century. Professor Gorobkov, University of Moscow, analyzed the cultural thinking in Russian literature and created the theory of ring structure.
