1941年,我考上了位于上海公共租界内的沪江大学。这年年底,太平洋战争爆发,上海的公共租界和法租界均为日军所占领。我不愿在沦陷区继续求学,忍受当亡国奴的耻辱,于是辗转数千里,来到大后方的陪都重庆,进入重庆大学继续学业。1945年8月于重大毕业,适逢抗战胜利,宝岛台湾也随即回归祖国,我与全国同胞一道,欢欣鼓舞,上街游行庆祝。
In 1941, I was admitted to Shanghai University in the Shanghai Public Settlement. By the end of that year, the outbreak of the Pacific War, the Shanghai Concession and the French Concession were occupied by Japanese troops. I did not want to continue studying in the occupied areas and endured the humiliation of being a slave country, so I traveled thousands of miles to Chongqing, where I came to the rear of the country and continued my studies at Chongqing University. August 1945 major graduation, coincides with the victory of the war, Taiwan and Taiwan will immediately return to the motherland, I and my compatriots, rejoicing, to the streets to celebrate.
