New Year has just begun, the Chinese superconductor community ushered in the good news. Zhao Zhongxian, a researcher at the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, won the National Science and Technology Achievement Award for his prominent contributions to the discovery of yttrium barium copper oxygen and the iron-based superconductors. Academician Zhao Zhongxian won the award for decades in his high-temperature superconductors in the study of assiduous, continuous search for recognition, is deserved.
