In a progressively developing country, each pioneer’s attempt is eye-catching. In September, the “Guangzhou Tobacco Control Smoking Regulations” was formally implemented and was called “the strictest smoke control legislation in history.” Not only the first-tier cities in Shanghai and Guangzhou began to try, Harbin, Shenyang, Tianjin, Lanzhou, Nanchang and other cities are also promoting smoke-free legislation. According to the World Health Organization Framework Convention on Tobacco Control, since January 2011, China should operate in all indoor public places and indoor workplaces.
