Overseas Chinese businessmen were once hailed as the pilots and vanguards of foreign investment in China. At present, Chinese-invested enterprises still occupy an important position in foreign-invested enterprises in China. How to safeguard their legitimate rights and interests becomes the focus of the Overseas Chinese Affairs System in China. The full-scale operation of the Chinese Overseas Chinese Affairs System for Overseas Chinese Enterprises in the Year of Action has achieved initial success. Xu Hesheng, director of the Department of Economic Affairs and Technology of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, recently introduced that in the first half of this year, only the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council had received 72 complaints from overseas Chinese-funded enterprises.
