The Zoologist Criticism Society (ICZ) is a longtime project of Singapore’s very talented artist Zhao Renhui. The first time I met him he was working on “Acupuncture Hibernation” - the animals were placed in a state of delayed numbness and reduced physiological activity by acupuncture (acupressure of acupuncture animals) and placed on 2- 4 ℃ in a special hibernation box, so that they can survive in a very low temperature and very low level of metabolism.
