为了深入领会江泽民总书记提出的“创建学习型社会”号召,积极开展创建学习型城市、学习型社区,学习型组织活动,迎接加入WTO和世界范围内的经济全球化、信息化、高科技潮流挑战,2001年12月22日至24日、学习时报社在中共中央党校召开“首届创建学习型社会论坛”。中共中央党校常务副校长郑必坚在会上致辞,中共中央党校副校长李君如作了创建学习型社会的主题报告。来自上海、大连、青岛等城市的领导作了“学习型城市”的经验介绍:美国杜邦公司中国集团公司总经理、中国联通集团公司副总裁等国际著名公司负责人作了“学习型企业”的经验交流报告:国家贸易部经济研究中心、上海明德学习型组织研究所和学习时报社等单位的领导、专家作了“学习型组织”的专题讲座。为便于大家了解、学习会议精神、本刊现摘要发表有关讲话和报告。
