Monterrey is Mexico’s third-largest city, famous for its beautiful mountains and abundant industry. An industrial site in the heart of the city was converted into a complex park, Fundidora (where a large number of steel mills were built in 1900). The park is like a city where many gardens, museums, exhibition halls, auditoriums, theme parks and cultural centers converge, like the Conarte Arts and Cultural Center in Leon. Anagrama Design was commissioned here to design a children’s library and cultural center, converted into a warehouse, and modern design did not reduce the original industrial atmosphere, but to some extent enhance it.
