The founding of the Academy of Sciences in Paris created a precedent for an independent scientific research institution, marking the first scientists in human history in France to emerge. In the first 30 years of the 18th century to the 19th century, France became the center of world science and the Paris Academy of Sciences became a model for the 18th century National Academy of Sciences.
