Since the birth of photography, landscape photography has taken the lead. But at the same time,as a photography class that can be commented on as a "sugar water film" at any moment, landscape photography faces many challenges, and most photographers are not keen on taking scenic pictures. Although we think the landscape photographs are almost identical, the works of this genre are still being shot in large Numbers. How to take a unique and rich view of the scenery has become the direction that landscape photographers keep exploring.
Its natural scenery photography can be a variety of forms and methods, forms and methods of the main are:the pursuit of natural light and shadow, highlight the aesthetic object, the landscape and object documentary, folkway and folk-custom in,people grab and reappearance, urban landscape were studied, finding and performance. It has been suggested that landscape photography has two types of direction:first, landscape documentary, real reproduction of nature's ecology and resources, and the pursuit of cultural and scientific value; The other is to express lyric,to show the mood and sentiment of the photographer, and to focus on the aesthetic value. Through the picture,I can talk about the poetry of nature, praise the beauty of the mountain river, and the harmony of heaven, earth and people.
Imagine you are in a "simple" landscape photographs taken may encounter problem:when you have to weather(good weather may be more than the bad weather),geography(whether the sun will fall down in that place),biology(whether in the best growth period),topography(poor shooting points are in need two hours to climb and ridge),etc.,sometimes taking people use all the trick or skills seem worthless at this moment. Of course, when you shoot flowers, you can get better lighting effects by using a device like a reflector. However,to be in the scenery photography,to illuminate a mountain in the shade, but not a lamp can do. In fact, the landscape is not entirely passive. How to express this theme, and the key depends on whether the photographer can make full use of his rich and powerful imagination. It is no wonder that so many photographers are content to shoot some standard documentary photographs, rather than to create real landscapes. If we want to make a masterpiece of landscape photography,we should eventually learn from the masters. Their characteristics can be clearly felt in their representative works.
It can be said that impatient people can never become a good landscape photographer. The ideal light is absolutely impossible to obtain. When it comes to patience,it doesn't mean simply to wait for the clouds to fall,or to wind down. What we call the patient refers to,do you think when you find a place to take landscape is certainly worth, and then a shooting conditions is not very ideal, you will later in the day to shoot again,or in one season, and spend years to waiting for the right time. For example, larry ulrich's "lily in the bay" is a work that took years to complete. The author discovered the landscape in a park in California many years ago,but the conditions were never satisfactory. He wanted to be photographed when the lilies were in full bloom. The light was soft and there was no wind. After several years of observation,he finally waited for the perfect timing. The camera used by ulrich is a 4X5 professional camera with a 90mm/F4.5 super-wide Angle lens mounted on a tripod. The ISO 50 Fuji film is used for the exposure time of 1 second and the aperture is F27. When shooting,he purposely waited a few minutes for the sea sea swell of the deep no white foam to press the shutter to get all the blue sea water as the setting of the concise and lively, for the whole picture on the charm. Australian landscape photographer Luke Austin has been searching for a number of awards in the last 12 years and won the top prize in last year's international photography competition. Like most photographers who love the landscape,Luke can't wait to embark on a year-long tour of Australia after getting his first digital camera. Because life still needed money to sustain him,Luke went to Canada for a living, and entered his first official career as a photographer -- photographing the north American landscape for travel magazines. For a long time he had been photographing, washing and mounting this repetitive process. When he found out that life was not what he had imagined,Luke decided to return to Australia and start his own private creation, taking pictures of the world.
"What I want to show is not just how spectacular this place is,but my experience and my understanding of it." Like Adams, who made his hometown yosemi beautiful,Luke has been taking pictures with his own feelings. His black and white landscape is more like an abstract art creation, full of the power of nature, let the audience sigh the magic of all things. The photos were taken in western Australia and an uninhabited island in southern New Zealand. The island's perennial strong winds, sometimes accompanied by storms, caused the island's trees to grow in shape, and the branches bent almost to the ground. Later,Luke added a trail of rain in the same place. "it's a year-round climate, and I'm just restoring what I saw."
Asked how he could manage the calm and tension of the picture,Luke said:"make the picture simple. The most important thing about landscape photography is the clarity of the subject." Like Luke's favorite photographer, guy tal,Luke is also looking for a fine image of a painting, with a detailed composition and an understanding of the landscape.
