N5088S系湖北省农科院粮作所新选育的一个粳型光敏核不育系。该不育系经中国水稻所光温反应鉴定,属典型的光敏核不育系,不育性稳定,育性转换明显,不育的起点温度低,育性的光敏温度范围宽。柱头外露率高,开花习性好,易制种。N5088S配合力较强,先后以R9—1、R187、R183、1514等恢复系组配,其杂种一般亩产400~600kg,米质好。1992年以N5088S为母本的制种2000多亩,杂种示范3万余亩。为摸清N5088S繁殖技术,为制种提供源源不断的不育系种子,我们通过分期播插、不同插植密度和不同栽插本数及不同施肥水平试验的结果表明,繁殖N5088S必须抓好以下几点。
N5088S Department of Hubei Academy of Agricultural Sciences Institute of grain crop newly selected a japonica photo-sensitive genic male sterile line. The CMS line was identified by photoperiod reaction in Chinese rice plants. It belongs to a typical photoperiod-sensitive genic male sterile line with stable sterility and obvious fertility transformation. The starting temperature of sterility is low, and the photosensitive temperature range of fertility is wide. Stigma exposed, flowering habits, easy to seed. N5088S stronger with the ability to successively R9-1, R187, R183,1514 and other restorers with the Department of the hybrid general mu produce 400 ~ 600kg, good quality rice. In 1992 to N5088S as the seed production of 2000 mu, more than 3 acres of hybrid demonstration. In order to find out the breeding technology of N5088S and provide a steady stream of sterile CMS seeds for seed production, the results of the experiment with different planting density and different planting numbers and different fertilization levels showed that breeding N5088S must grasp the following point.
